The Classic Arts Youth Chorale is a select mixed choral ensemble of children grades 3-10.  The Youth Chorale is designed to provide a rich and rewarding musical experience for each child.  The children will have the opportunity to study and perform a variety of musical literature, both sacred and secular.  Concepts about music and musical skills are taught through singing, moving, listening, and analysis.  Within the Youth Chorale are three groups, Piccolo Singers, Vivace Singers, and Inner Voices, in which the members will be placed based on vocal abilities, age, and experience.

The goals of the Youth Chorale are:

  • To introduce children to the musical traditions of other cultures

  • To foster the personal and social growth of choir members

  • To strive for excellence in choral performance

  • To enrich the quality of music in the community through additional vocal instruction
